WHY ALPACA
For centuries, alpaca fiber was reserved for Incan royalty. Today, it remains one of the rarest and most coveted natural fibers in the world.
What makes it extraordinary is its structure. Each hollow fiber acts as a natural climate system, responding to your body throughout the night. Warmth without overheating. Breathability without chill. A balance that synthetic materials and even traditional down cannot achieve.
Alpaca contains no lanolin, the waxy substance found in sheep's wool. This makes it naturally hypoallergenic, resistant to dust mites, and remarkably gentle against the skin.
Our fleece comes from small farms across Poland, where alpaca herds have quietly grown over the past two decades. Each spring, the animals are sheared and their fleece is carefully sorted by hand. We use fibers of varying texture and fineness, each contributing its own character to the finished duvet. Softer fibers for gentle loft, coarser fibers for structure and durability. Nothing is discarded. It is a zero waste approach that honors the animal, the farmer, and the craft itself.
The result is bedding with substance. Weighing between 0.3 and 3.1 kilograms depending on size and weight, our duvets drape with a satisfying presence, enveloping you in quiet comfort. No rustling. No shifting fills. Just softness and warmth that feels entirely effortless.
Sleep is not passive. It is the most restorative thing the body does. The duvet you sleep under: its weight, its breathability, how it responds to your body through the night shapes the quality of every hour beneath it. Most people have never reconsidered this. Most duvets have given them no reason to.
