1. OVERVIEW
At UNWONTED, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how to return products and receive refunds. We offer both the legal 14-day withdrawal right for EU consumers and an extended 30-day return period for all customers.
2. YOUR RETURN RIGHTS
2.1 EU Legal Right - 14-Day Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
Withdrawal Period: 14 days from the day you receive your order
How to Withdraw:
- Email us at info@unwonted.dk stating your intention to withdraw
- We will send you a return form and instructions
- Return the products within 14 days of notifying us
2.2 UNWONTED 30-Day Return Policy
We extend the return period to 30 days from delivery for all customers, subject to the conditions below.
Return Period: 30 days from the day you receive your order
3. RETURN CONDITIONS
3.1 Acceptable Returns
Products must be:
- Unused - No signs of use, sleeping in, or washing
- In original condition - As you received them
- With original packaging - All boxes, bags, and protective materials
- With all tags attached - Do not remove any labels or tags
- Clean and undamaged - No stains, odors, pet hair, or damage
3.2 Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns of:
- Used bedding products (for hygiene reasons)
- Products that have been washed or cleaned
- Items without original packaging
- Products showing any signs of use
- Customized or personalized orders
- Products damaged through customer handling
4. HOW TO RETURN
4.1 Return Process
Step 1: Register Your Return Online
- Log into your account at unwonted.dk
- Go to "My Orders" in your account
- Click "Return Item" next to your order
- Select items and reason for return
- Receive return authorization number
Step 2: Pack Your Return
- Use original packaging if possible
- Include all items from original order
- Products must be unused with all tags
- Include return authorization number
Step 3: Use Your Prepaid DHL Label
- Locate the DHL Express return label included with your original order
- Attach it to your package (cover the old shipping label)
- No printing needed - label was in your package
Step 4: Drop Off at DHL
- Take package to any DHL Service Point or DHL Express location
- No payment required - shipping is prepaid
- Get your receipt for tracking
- Return ships via DHL Express
Important: You must register the return on our website first. Packages without authorization may be delayed.
5. RETURN SHIPPING
5.1 Free Return Shipping - All EU Orders
All returns are FREE using the prepaid DHL Express return label included with your order:
- Prepaid label in every package
- Works throughout the European Union
- No shipping costs for any return reason
- DHL Express service (1-3 days transit)
International Returns (outside EU):
- Contact us for return instructions
- Shipping costs may apply
5.2 DHL Service Points
Find your nearest DHL drop-off location:
- Visit dhl.com to find locations
- Most DHL Service Points open Monday-Saturday
- DHL Express offices also accept returns
- Get receipt for tracking purposes
5.3 Missing Return Label?
If you cannot find your prepaid DHL return label:
- Check all original packaging materials
- Contact info@unwonted.dk
- We'll email a replacement label to print
- Attach to package and drop at DHL
6. REFUNDS
6.1 Refund Timeline
- Inspection: 2-3 business days after we receive your return
- Approval notification: Within 24 hours of inspection
- Refund processing: Within 14 days of approval
- Bank processing: Additional 3-5 business days
6.2 Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method:
- Credit/debit cards: Credited to same card
- PayPal: Returned to PayPal account
- Bank transfer: Returned to originating account
6.3 Refund Amount
Full Refund Includes:
- Product price
- Original standard shipping (for defective items only)
Partial Refund Situations:
- Products returned with missing items
- Products not in original condition but still saleable
- Returns made after 30 days but within warranty period
Not Refunded:
- Original shipping costs (except for defects/errors)
- Return shipping costs (where customer pays)
- Currency conversion fees
6.4 Multi-Currency Refunds
- Refunds are processed in the currency of original purchase
- Exchange rate fluctuations are not compensated
- Denmark purchases: Refunded in DKK
- Poland purchases: Refunded in PLN
- Rest of EU purchases: Refunded in EUR
- International: Refunded in currency charged
7. EXCHANGES
7.1 Exchange Process
We recommend returning the item for a refund and placing a new order to ensure availability and faster processing.
7.2 Direct Exchanges
Direct exchanges are available only for:
- Defective products (same item replacement)
- Wrong item sent (correct item provided)
8. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
8.1 Reporting Damage
Shipping Damage:
- Report within 48 hours of delivery
- Email photos to info@unwonted.pl
- Keep all packaging for inspection
Manufacturing Defects:
- Covered by 2-year warranty and 5 years guarantee
- Report any time defect is discovered
- Photos required for assessment
8.2 Resolution for Defects
We will offer (your choice):
- Full refund including all shipping costs
- Replacement product at no charge
- Repair if applicable and preferred
9. WARRANTIES
9.1 Legal Warranty (2 Years)
All products have a 2-year warranty covering:
- Manufacturing defects
- Material defects
9.2 Craftsmanship Guarantee
This guarantee is offered in addition to your statutory consumer rights under EU law, which give you two years to claim for manufacturing defects. The UNWONTED Craftsmanship Guarantee extends this protection to five years under the terms described below.
Registered products are covered for: Stitching integrity, seam construction, shell fabric defects (not from misuse), and fill clumping or shifting that affects performance
What's Not Covered: Natural aging of materials, stains, discolouration, cosmetic wear from regular use, damage from pets, children or accidents, damage from misuse or improper care or washing
To Claim: Email info@unwonted.dk with photos and proof of purchase
10. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
10.1 Gift Returns
Gift recipients may return items for store credit with receipt. Original purchaser can provide order information for full refund.
10.2 Sale Items
Sale items are returnable under the same conditions as regular-priced items unless specifically marked "Final Sale."
10.3 Bulk Orders
Orders over 10 items may have modified return conditions. Contact us before ordering.
